This Issue's TLDR...

Confession time: I was dismissive of Amazon Ads' Creative Studio in the beginning. Amazon first demo'd it at Amazon Accelerate 2024, and I remember sitting in the audience and chuckling to myself. The use cases that Amazon shared on stage were far too removed from what the average seller needs. And, the outputs they demo'd felt...staged. Sure enough, when I got beta access and started testing, I was under-whelmed. So I quickly moved on. Until Amazon Accelerate 2025, when Amazon, again, proudly paraded the capabilities of Creative Studio to brands and sellers. Again, after the show, I stress-tested it. It was better, but, at the same time, the GenAI advancements happening with ChatGPT and Gemini led me to ignore it. Something has quietly happened over the first 2 months of 2026 though... Amazon has shipped A LOT of new features (useful ones, too!) and:
I've only just jumped back into Creative Studio over the past 2 weeks, but preliminarily, the features that I specifically like are:
Starting image: I used a series of prompts to a) create a main image and b) create secondary images. I've copied a few of them below, for your reference, but my experience is that Creative Studio does well with natural language human instructions and the prompts don't matter too much. PROMPT 1: Create a clean product photo rendering of this product to be used as the main image on an Amazon listing
β
PROMPT 2: Next, I want a lifestyle image, showing the product being used to treat a stain on a shirt. Show the product in a person's hand. The lifestyle image should have a text overlay that says "Works Like Magic For Life's Messes".
β
PROMPT 3: Now, make a features infographic for the product. I've copied below the product details, in bullet point format.
And, here's what the image stack looked like (I'm just showing 4 of the images here because I don't want this email size to get too large): NOTE: These are the raw outputs from Creative Studio. As you'll read below, what I've found is that the "fit and finishes" are better done in Canva (or Figma, if that's your thing). What I don't like (right now):
*** h/t to Daniela Bolzmann for shining a light on these new capabilities BEST from LinkedInI haven't checked if there's a Polymarket or Kalshi prediction market for this (yet), but if there is... I'd bet on Ed being right about this. His seller group, ASGTG, is such a rich nexus of information and presumably there were multiple independent signals that led him to make this post. Thanks, Ed, for the tip. PS: The 12th annual ASGTG event is happening in NYC on March 5. Every year, its a must-attend event for Amazon sellers and professionals. Register here. BEST from XTwo things that I'd add to this list: 6. Speed Especially if that speed is driven by smart AI integration. The companies that can turn weeks of human work into hours (or minutes!) using custom models, agentic workflows, and real-time fine-tuning wins the next decade. 7. Magnetism I'm not talking about actual magnets. I'm talking about founders and leaders that can become "cults of personality" that inspire people to join them in their mission, or inspire customers to become part of the tribe. Some current examples: Alex Hormozi (Acquisition.com), Sean Riley (DUDE Wipes)
BEST from YouTubeIf you feel like you're falling behind in your understanding and adoption of Claude Cowork and/or Claude Code... First of all, join the club. And second, go watch this 45min video. I'm steering you here, rather than the 100s of other videos that have been published, because Michal approaches this from the perspective of an Amazon seller/operator. Which is all of us here at Best@Amazon. |
