Question... What's different about these two main images for Brainista's Yerba Magic tea? (I'll give you a few seconds. Don't scroll ahead and peek.) ... ... ... If your answer is that Image B simply has larger font/text than Image A, then you'd be correct. Now, which of these images performed better in a PickFu poll? (I'll give you a few seconds. Don't scroll ahead and peek.) ... ... ... ā Image B -- with the larger text -- outperformed Image A by a significant margin. And, here's the kicker...I was able to replicate this result. Over and over and over again. Of course, I had a hypothesis that this would be the case. Not because of some weird prescience or expert instinct. But, because...there's a large body of academic research (here's one) that has consistently found that... BIGGER IS BETTER. So, that's your click-through rate hack/takeaway here. When in doubt, just make it BIGGER. ā BEST from LinkedInWhile we're on the topic of simple, but effective, main image hacks, here's a great post from Brandon Fishman, CEO of VitaCup, on matching your digital merchandising to customer search queries. As I've tested this myself, what I've (interestingly) found is...
I have a hypothesis on why that is, but I've spare you of that for now. Anyway, here's Brandon's post: BEST from XI haven't tested this with Amazon images, but I'm going to. I'll share the results in a future newsletter. Part of me hopes that this *doesn't* work because, again, it's embarrassingly simple.

šØ NEW RESOURCE ALERT šØ My friends over at AIA Assets just launched a marketplace for "shell" accounts on Amazon (both Vendor and Seller). If you don't know what this is, well, you shouldn't be buying. If you do know what this is, well, I wouldn't really call this "Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition" because you're not buying a cash-flowing business. But, it could end up serving you in your entrepreneurial endeavors, so, I'll include it in this section. There are lots of reasons to be in the market for a "shell" account. I've facilitated sales of several of these in the past for buyers, who each had their own unique (strategic!) reasons. If this would be helpful to you, you now have a resource!
