Why are you paying more than a 10% commission to your FBA reimbursements provider?

Especially now that Amazon only reimburses based on manufacturing costs.

Seriously, I want to know.

  • Are you sticking with your provider because they claim to recover more $?
  • Are you sticking with your provider because some well-known "Amazon expert" (that might not even sell on Amazon anymore) is always recommending that provider?

Look, man, you do you. But, for me, I'm going to pocket the extra cash from only paying 10% vs 25%.

BEST From Me

I'll be honest.

My Amazon agency is struggling with AI.

Well, let me be precise...

I think we're ahead of the curve in terms of AI adoption and integration into key workflows.

But, where we, and I, struggle is selecting the right AI tool.

The right hammer for the job, so to speak.

The problem is, simply: There are TOO MANY decently good options.

I don't want decently good though. I want great. For my agency and for my clients.

Over the last 18 months, I've tried just about every AI listing optimization tool out there. Standalone tools, native features within existing softwares, customGPTs...everything.

Most were promising in theory, but clunky in practice. Too many didn't pull in the right amount of marketing intelligence from Amazon. Too many required manual edits. Too much were just...decently good.

But, about a year ago, I found Flowin.ai (and actually mentioned them briefly in this newsletter).

Since then, both I, and my agency, have taken Flowin through the paces.

And honestly? It's been magic.

Here's what that magic looks like...

My agency works with a lot of omnichannel brands that are looking to launch on Amazon.

They have websites, they have product information systems, they have creative assets.

And all of that needs information to be shared, reviewed, synthesized, and turned into an optimized Amazon listing.

It's not rocket science, but it does take time.

Flowin cuts down that time substantially. To wit...

This is a killer DTC brand called Fuego.

They make dance shoes, and they aren't on Amazon.

Shoes is one of those super tough categories on Amazon because, among other things, you have massive catalogs between all of the size/color/style variations.

From a brand or agency perspective, it's also a massive undertaking to 1) create optimized listings and then 2) maintain them over time.

Flowin solves both of those problems.

I literally took the PDP link on Fuego's DTC site, input it into Flowin, and:

  • It did deep keyword research;
  • Simulated different copy combinations to determine the listing copy with the highest Listing Quality Score (similar concept to DataDive's Keyword Ranking Juice);
  • Checked the optimized copy for restricted keywords against its extensive and constantly updated database; and
  • Gave me the option to "auto-magically" publish to Seller Central.

All of this in...<2 minutes.

But, wait, there's more...

Flowin acts as sort of a "Product Information Management" or "PIM" system for your Amazon catalog.

It keeps a record of every catalog change you've ever made, and allows you to revert content to previous versions, if needed.

Super helpful when you have Amazon bots making changes and/or black hats trying to undermine your listings.

In summary...

  • For individual sellers: Flowin empowers in-house teams -- whether or not they have deep Amazon expertise -- to deliver expert-level results across the full catalog, not just hero ASINs.
  • For agencies and experts: Flowin supercharges expert workflows -- giving teams a head start with data-rich, ready-to-edit drafts -- so they can 10x their output, serve more clients, and focus their energy where it matters most.

Give Flowin a shot. I promise you won't regret it.

This is an old post, but it came up in an Amazon community that I'm in, and thought it worth sharing.

Understanding human psychology will serve you well in a lot of fields, especially in this AI-driven world where EQ is probably more important than IQ.

But, importantly, it will also serve you well in building a brand, as your ads, copy, and creative assets need to tap into the "lizard brains" of your customers.
