TrueOps

Smart Sellers Audit with TrueOps.

Let's keep this simple:

  • They find money others miss.
  • They only charge you when Amazon pays you.

Their rates are some of the best in the industry.

You don't need to switch providers right now. You just need a free audit.

It costs you nothing. But ignoring it? That could cost you thousands.

PS: One of my Best@Amazon readers recently emailed me a recap of their first 90 days of recoveries after switching to TrueOps. On this reader's $8mm revenue business, TrueOps found $615k in recoverable funds, and clawed back $166k of that in the first 90 days. This reader also mentioned that their existing reimbursement provider was failing, egregiously, and seeing claims denied repeatedly. TrueOps fixed that.

BEST from ME MONTE DESAI

This week, I'm handing the "BEST from ME" section to Monte Desai, the super talented founder of Pixii.ai.

Monte, over to you!

How top 1% sellers design with AI

Everyone has heard that Nano Banana and ChatGPT can generate listing images.

But here's what the top sellers and agencies aren't posting about on social media: they've moved way past that.

They're not writing prompts or generating 1 image at a time.

They're designing 100 listings every month. Automatically.

I'm Monte Desai, founder of Pixii, the AI designer for Amazon listings.

I see how thousands of brands and agencies use AI. The top 1% do it differently, and they’re pulling ahead.

Here are 5 ways the top 1% use AI for design:

1. Design entire catalogs

"Day 1 Pixii designed a listing that would’ve cost us $3,000 from an agency. This week, we designed 80 listings. This would have cost $240,000.”

Kari Thomas, Skin Perfection

Kari did this with only herself and a freelancer.

2. A/B test

"We use Pixii with every client project."

Daniela Bolzmann, Mindful Goods

Daniela’s team sends clients 10 main images immediately after onboarding.

3. First draft

"Pixii gets you from zero to 85%. That’s where the hours get chewed up.”

John Aspinall, Velocity Sellers

John uses Pixii for v1. It automatically researches customer reviews and personas. It drafts 7 visuals optimized for Amazon. These visuals are editable, so his team can tweak them until they’re perfect.

4. Uplift PPC

"We throw in Pixii designs for clients because they instantly improve TACoS, CTR, and CVR"

Nassuf Mmadi, PPCAssist

Nassuf refuses to let clients pour PPC money on a bad listing. So they redesign listings for free. It only takes 2 minutes with Pixii.

One recent seller saw TACoS cut in half after redesigning her listing with Pixii.

5. Staff augmentation

"Without Pixii, we'd need 5 or 10 more people."

—Vincenzo Toscano, Ecomcy

Vincenzo is scaling his company without scaling headcount. AI now gives every designer superpowers.

You can design a listing for free in 2 minutes at Pixii.ai

SmartScout

Most of you probably know...I'm a BIG SmartScout fanboi.

I use it daily, and I bother Scott Needham and the team there with feature requests every month.

EVERY seller and brand should be using it, IMO, and, to that end, I asked the SmartScout team for a special offer for my Best@Amazon audience.

This is ONLY available to Best@Amazon readers.

And, here's the offer:

Free SmartScout trial for 10 days and then 35% off for 3-months

You won't find this offer anywhere else. Go ahead and look.

Or, just take the offer.

BEST from the Group Chats

Most someone posted this just this morning in one of my group chats, and others in the group chat are interpreting this to mean that credit card payments for Amazon PPC are going away?

That's not exactly how I'm reading this, but it's something that I'm looking into right now.

And, if true, this wouldn't surprise me, since Google and Meta have both already moved in this direction.

BEST from LinkedIn

Scott Needham always brings the laughs with his Amazon April Fool's Day posts.

In case you missed it, this is what he posted this year:

But (and obviously I'm biased)... sort of feel like my April Fool's Day post this year was right up there with Scott's?

What say you?

BEST from X

Bloomberg ran a story three years ago with the headline that Amazon now takes over 50% of seller revenue.

That take rate % has gone up since then, and I'd love to see a fresh analysis.

In just the past month, Amazon sellers have had to endure:

  1. DD+7 (which doesn't impact margin, per se, but does extend Cash Conversion Cycle)
  2. A 3.5% temporary fuel surcharge (which we know will become permanent)
  3. Removing the ability to pay PPC with credit cards (maybe)

What a time to be an Amazon seller.
